Inspired: Emperor of the Moon

Several weeks ago I was asked by a friend if I could create an art print of a Moth - This for me was a bit of a challenge, with initially thoughts of the common or garden moth being less than inspiring :) However, it became clear after doing a bit of visual research that there is as much variety in the world of this nocturnal creature as you would discover in the butterfly species. My personal favourites are those with 'feathered antennae' as with the Emperor Moths - the creative influence behind this print series.

'Flower Flies'
Street art inspired original screen printed art.

Hand pulled screen printed art, using a mix of spray paint  create an unique and individual print.This particular image is printed on high quality ivory 300gsm card and mounted on whitecore mountboard (which does not yellow with age), with bevel aperture. Picture is A4 in size  (mount aperture size is 7.75” x 11.24”).
